Grace Management, Inc is seeking a Property Staff Accountant who will be responsible for general accounting and reporting. This role will assist with the preparation and analysis of the annual budget and provide audit support and workpaper preparation. Additional duties include creating, analyzing, and distributing financial information.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for general accounting and assigned monthly close tasks including, but not limited to, the preparation of journal entries, bank reconciliations, account reconciliations and other analysis. Ensure timeliness, accuracy and completeness as it pertains to the close process.
Provide miscellaneous financial support, interfacing with all levels of management and internal customers. Maintain internal and external relations; respond timely to inquiries and requests.
Assist Communities in collection of outstanding accounts receivable including sending monthly aging reports.
Assists with year-end audit as well as support budget and forecasting process.
Researches and analyzes variances and unusual transactions as identified. Communicates variances and resolves as appropriate.
Recommends, establishes, and maintains controls and process improvements across a range of activities to ensure accuracy, provide safeguards, and improve efficiency.
Backup and support other accounting department functions to manage workload and cover absences. Perform other duties as assigned.
What we’re looking for:
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite and ERP and other financial software packages. Must have good working knowledge of Excel.
Property Management & AMIS experience preferred.
Motivated team player committed to improvement of self and business processes.
Independent learner who is able to identify and resolve complex issues.
High energy, can-do attitude, strong work ethic a must.
Must demonstrate professional acumen, customer service attitude and is able to deliver results accurately and on time.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
1 or more years of equivalent experience in functional areas listed above
