With projects spanning the breadth of the country – from city suburbs to remote regions – we apply a science-based, collaborative approach to deliver nature-based solutions addressing climate change and biodiversity loss.Our organisation is made up of more than 150 knowledgeable and passionate employees, working together across Australia to restore our diverse and iconic ecosystems and helping create healthy, productive landscapes where people and nature thrive.Watch our Impact video below to learn more about some of our recent work.About the RoleWe are seeking a Financial Analyst, based on Wurundjeri Country, who will be the go-to person for all things financial data and serve as a vital link supporting financial data and reporting needs across the organisation.Reporting to the CFO and collaborating with stakeholders across the business (including the Board, Finance and Risk Committee, CEO and Executive Team, Program Directors, and Project Managers) this role represents an outstanding opportunity to join Greening Australia and play a key part in contributing to our goals through delivering enhanced business insights, financial analysis and reporting.This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term role to cover parental leave.Key ActivitiesAnalysing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvementManaging budget and forecasting cyclesBuilding and maintaining a robust system of financial forecasting, planning, and reportingPreparing and presenting detailed management financial reportsDeveloping and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial performanceCreating and maintaining complex financial models to support strategic planning and decision-makingEnsuring compliance with financial regulations and company policiesCollaborating with other departments to gather necessary data and insightsAbout YouThe Essentials:Qualified CA/CPA (with prior tertiary degree in accounting or a related field)Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and reporting, including the preparation of financial reports for senior leadershipStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAdvanced proficiency in Excel, financial modelling, and tools like Microsoft Business Central and Power BIExperience with data visualisation and project modellingHigh attention to detail and accuracyProactive, with a hands-on, can-do attitudeStrong team player, effective across functions, and comfortable in a fast-paced environmentThe Nice to Haves:Knowledge of the not-for-profit sectorWhat We OfferFlexible Working Options: A hybrid approach, and flexible start and finish timesNo Meetings Fridays: A chance to Stop.
