Your role involves collaborating closely with business partners and vendors to meticulously develop, plan, budget meetings and events, where operational excellence and business goal outcomes are achieved. - You have significant corporate meeting management experience, preferably in the finance or investment industry.
- As an event strategist, you excel in managing meetings and events from concept to execution, covering all aspects of production, including schedule, format, venue/platform selection, meeting technology, attendee management, food and beverage, transportation, accommodations, staffing, and budget management.
- You are a self-starter who applies a high degree of ownership, focus and attention managing multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
- You possess exceptional communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to persuade with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills to influence and establish effective working relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- You are an experienced presenter and can tailor content and style to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders.
- You are proficient with building relationships and working collaboratively, approaching all you do with integrity, care, respect and thoughtful consideration for others.
- You are skilled at managing budgets by negotiating contracts, reviewing invoices, verifying services or goods provided for payment, and processing reconciliations and reimbursements.
- You are flexible in a fast-paced setting with competing and ever-changing tasks and are calm under pressure.
- You are quick to learn and adopt new technologies (CVENT, Teams, WebEx, Zoom, etc.)
- You are a progressive thinker with a passion for streamlining processes and executing project plans both individually and collaboratively.
- You bring a wealth of experience in managing the fluctuations in the event cycle throughout the year, influenced by various external factors.
Southern California Base Salary Range: $76,383-$122,213
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
