Northrop Grumman's MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) provides real-time intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) over vast ocean and coastal regions. The aircraft can fly for more than 24 hours at a time, at an altitude above 55,000 feet and an operational range of 8,200 nautical miles. Australia is a cooperative program partner in the Triton program which consists of the US Navy, Royal Australian Air Force and Northrop Grumman.
Your Role:
We are seeking a suitably qualified and highly skilled Technical Services Officer to help support the brand new MQ-4C Triton program and associated systems. Your role will require you (with the engineering team) investigate problem reports from the Maintenance Organisation, liaise with relevant authorities and implement engineering solutions to maintain continuing airworthiness of the RAAF Triton Aircraft. You will also be reviewing United States Navy Technical Instructions for suitability against WHS and Australian Configuration, Role and Environment requirements ensuring ADF capability is maintained.
About you:
You will have at least 5 years’ experience working within an aviation environment, with a qualification in engineering or similar aviation trade. Knowledge of the Defence Publication System and DASR publication requirements is critical to succeeding in this role.
