Job Summary:
The Associate Wealth Advisor will work closely with Senior Wealth Advisors and serve as the strategic liaison in helping to identify ultra high net worth prospects.
Responsibilities:
Develop strategies with Senior Wealth Advisors and Regional Directors for local and out of town events.
Oversee the coordination of Analysts on all prospect analyses and presentation preparations.
Qualify leads received from lead generators and other sources, follow-up on activity, client profiling, and set up meetings.
Travel as needed to conferences and client meetings as needed.
Working with tax and estate planning professionals in the process of supporting the business development process.
Will be responsible for using proprietary and licensed software and databases to capture activity and progress of sales opportunities for the territory.
Will be trained and expected to become proficient in asset allocation modeling, investment portfolio analysis, fixed income portfolio analysis, tax transition portfolio analysis.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
MBA required; CFA preferred.
Ideally two to four years of prior experience in Financial Services, with some exposure to Private Wealth Management, Investment Management, Investment Banking, or related field.
Series 7 and 66 needed.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Candidate must be goal-oriented, proactive, and a motivated self-starter.
Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM technology.
Ability to thrive in a fast paced team environment.
Securities licenses will not generally be obtained or maintained unless deemed by Bessemer Trust to be required in order for you to perform the responsibilities of this position.
