The Washington Post is seeking a dedicated Talent Relations Manager to support and enhance our star talent network. This role is crucial in implementing detailed plans and arranging programs that amplify the visibility and impact of our public-facing talent. Reporting to the Senior Director of Talent Relations, you will work closely with high-profile personalities and contribute to their personal branding, public engagement activities, and overall career development.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in identifying, cultivating, and managing talent within The Post's star talent network. Support the development and execution of strategies to enhance their visibility and impact.
  • Produce and implement comprehensive plans to increase the presence of existing and emerging talent across various platforms, including social media, podcasts, and public appearances
  • Partner with publicists, agents, and other industry professionals to assess emerging talent and explore opportunities for media exposure.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with agents, talent scouts, and other industry professionals to support talent sourcing and development.
  • Create and manage personalized progression plans to boost the skills and marketability of media personalities.
  • Work with publicists to craft and execute strategies that leverage talent brands effectively across multiple channels, ensuring alignment with The Post's objectives.
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in talent management, media or entertainment, with a proven ability to manage high-profile talent and projects.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience in managing and executing detailed plans and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with experience working with VIPs and high-profile talent. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain key industry relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-energy, positive, proactive, and deadline-driven environment. Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel as required to support talent and attend relevant events.

Benefits may vary based on the job, full-time or part-time schedule, location, and collectively bargained status.

The salary range for this position is:
74,000.00 - 111,000.00 USD Annual

The actual salary within this range will depend on individual skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements. This position may be eligible for a bonus or incentive program, and a member of the Talent Acquisition team will discuss bonus payment terms and conditions during the interview process.
