Position Summary:
The Manager Finance position will be an integral member of the Latin Americas Clinical Trials Team, as well as the Andean Leadership team. The Finance Manager supports the development of the financial planning and analysis activities, as well as Accounting for Latin America. The role will require accounting, planning, analyzing, forecasting, budgeting, and business intelligence activities in support of the Business Unit's goals.
Education:
- An undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting is required
Experience:
- Required - Must speak fluent Spanish and English
- Must have experience working in Latin America and supporting Operations
- Minimum of 5+ years of dynamic Accounting /Finance experience
- MBA/CPA preferred
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong experience business modeling and forecasting
- Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, PowerBI and Hyperion preferred
- Confirmed ability to drive process optimization, implement change, and deliver
- Thorough and highly organized, with the ability to lead several priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior management
- Tried business partner and influencer
Responsibilities:
- Full P&L (Financial Planning & Analysis and Accounting Controls) responsibility for the Andean Region within the Clinical Trials Division (CTD), including sites in Colombia, Peru and Chile
- Provides financial leadership and strategic business partnership to the Andean leadership teams to drive initiatives to sustain double digit growth
- Act as a business partner to the General Manager helping them to meet key operating and financial goals by providing insight to the business and supporting decision making.
- Lead AOP / QBR / STRAP/ MBR for Andean Region and support Latin America development
- Engage in Latin America Operational Finance (approximately $90m in revenue)
- Monitor and analyze financials, including leading monthly and quarterly reporting (revenue, gross margin, OPEX, CAPEX)
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, ability to set and implement standard methodologies for accounting and financial processes to leverage across the business unit and division
- Perform regular balance sheet & compliance reviews.
- Lead data analysis for the business, using sophisticated data and problem solving
- Analyze financial and business performance against key business metrics and identify pertinent financial highlights, enabling understanding of progress against strategic business plans
- Understands and deploys the best tools / methods to effectively communicate sophisticated data and topics
- Develops high quality effective presentations (i.e. engaging, motivating, concise, well-prep)
- Identify, communicate, and lead risk & opportunities
