Description






We are hiring an Event Planning Intern in our Field Sales Enablement team to support our Sales learning programs. In this role, you will work closely with the team who develops and facilitates our sales learning curriculum and experiences. Activities will include coordinating and scheduling logistics for events, hosting in-person and virtual learning sessions, and communication with key stakeholders throughout our sales organization. If you have a desire to learn more about consultative sales, this may be a great opportunity!

Your Future Team: The Steelcase Field Sales Enablement team creates, implements and curates learning experiences for individuals joining our Sales organization. We lead multiple learning programs for interns, recent college grads and seasoned sales professionals located throughout the US and Canada. We work with numerous subject matter experts across the organization in the development and implementation of our learning programs. You will have a mentor who will provide you with guidance to support your growth and development. As a small team with many responsibilities, we work both independently and collaboratively.

Who You Are:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in hospitality, business administration or related field.
  • Authorized to work in the US without future need of sponsorship.
  • Graduation date of May 2026.
  • This is a year-round role that will be full-time during the summer and part-time during the school year. You must be a student at a local west Michigan school to be considered.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strong organizational and technical documentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate clearly
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and PowerPoint
  • Adapting successfully to changing situations and environments

  • Event planning experience and organizational skills
