What we are looking for:

indiGO's Central Region is seeking a full-time, in-office Human Resources Administrator to join our growing team based in Houston, TX. This is a wonderful entry-level opportunity to work with a cohesive and supportive team that is excited to train a new team member.

Here is what an ordinary day of work may look like:

  • Assist with the talent acquisition process, which may include recruiting, interviewing, and administering onboarding documents to new hires
  • Attend and participate in college job fairs and recruiting sessions as requested
  • Assist management with screening job candidates, complete initial phone screens if needed
  • Assemble new hire packages and ensure adequate supplies at each location
  • Work with local management team to plan small employee events
  • Provide innovative ideas to help streamline the HR department’s operations
  • Perform monthly personnel records audits
  • Audit and enforce compliance testing completion across the company
  • Assist with additional compliance-related reports and tasks as needed
  • Code HR-related bills
  • Support HR Generalist, Manager, and Director with ad hoc requests and projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned

The opportunity is for you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required.
  • Previous HR Internship or HR Administrator experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual skills a plus - English/Spanish.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Open to learning and adapting to change.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
