Description
We’re looking for a self-driven web/graphic designer who is comfortable working in multiple mediums and platforms. To be successful in this role you’ll need to be adaptable, a team player, and comfortable taking on a range of projects.
As a designer on the marketing team, you will spend most of your time executing design for marketing campaigns and building content for the web. You’ll work with an innovative team of writers, designers, developers, videographers, and photographers who tackle problems and come up with user-focused marketing solutions.
What You'll Do:
- Web design (landing pages, email blasts, digital ads, websites)
- Produce emails, banners and website designs using HTML5, CSS3.
- Use design thinking and an understanding of branding to create a seamless customer experience across platforms.
- Create in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and InDesign.
- Show off your mastery of layout principles, aesthetic, design concepts and typography.
- Demonstrate your abilities to conceptualize design based on marketing direction.
- Execute designs and concepts from direction provided by the Marketing Director, Art Director and other stakeholders.
What You'll Need:
- 3 years of design experience.
- Experience writing HTML5 and CSS3 to most current standards.
- Proven skills using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Lightroom).
- Flexibility in juggling a variety of projects while being able to effectively prioritize.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment of change.
- Strong grasp of design principles and design thinking.
- Strong team orientation and ability to work effectively in a participative management culture.
- Ability to learn & follow brand guidelines, designing to the Rio Grande brand.
- Experience with proofing process and ability to take feedback on your work from various stakeholders.
- Degree in web design or closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an Agile project management environment.
- Experience with CMS platforms (Magento, Sitecore, WordPress, Squarespace, etc.).
- Knowledge or experience building email marketing automation.
- Knowledge or experience with Account Based Marketing.
Schedule:
- General hours are between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. M-F.

Office Environment:
Typically, in a modern office setting, possibly in an open-plan office to facilitate communication and collaboration.
Physical Requirements:
Primarily sedentary, requiring employees to sit for extended periods. This can include working at a computer, attending meetings, and performing other tasks while seated.
