Business IT develops and operates applications that support the customer journey so that our customers always receive the best possible support. This is done in four teams: IT Delivery Management, BSS Development, OSS Development and the DevOps team with a focus on infrastructure and cloud engineering.

YOUR FIELD OF ACTIVITY

As a DevOps Cloud Engineer (Voice) (m/f/d) (Germany-wide), you will make an important contribution to Plusnet's business success. Exciting and diverse tasks await you in your field of work:

• Responsible for the technical design and further development of the Plusnet Cloud PBX Voice platforms Tengo-Centraflex and Combase
• Technical contact person for the system supplier Cisco-Broadworks or Webex and various end device and client manufacturers e.g. Yealink, Aastra/Mitel, Cisco, ESTOS
• Technical processing of customer tenders and technical management in TC customer projects
• Specification and development of process and operating instructions for the support instances
• Technical support for error analyses in 3rd level support

WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU

• Completed vocational training or studies in the field of telecommunications
• Several years of relevant professional experience in designing, setting up and operating VolP-based telecommunications system solutions, ideally with Cisco Broadworks
• Very in-depth knowledge of SIP-based voice switching with practical experience of corresponding system components
• Very good knowledge and practical experience in the areas of LAN/WAN, TCP/TLS, Linux, VMWare
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
• Independent and autonomous way of working with a structured and methodical approach
• Strong learning ability, commitment, ability to work in a team and perseverance
• Very good analytical skills and flexible in dealing with problems and new requirements
• Strong communication skills in customer contact
