Relias is looking for a Mobile Software Engineer to assist with current and future mobile product offerings. This role is expected to participate in a highly collaborative team environment to develop new features, troubleshoot bugs, and work independently when applicable.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining our mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms.
- Developing Mobile Software applications in React Native or Native Script Technologies.
- Working closely with other developers, test engineers, and product managers on a highly functional Agile team.
- Solving difficult problems through research and innovation.
- Keeping an eye out for UI/UX design best practices.
- Optimizing application performance to ensure smooth and responsive user experiences.
- Maintaining detailed documentation of code and application architecture for future reference and collaboration.
YOU'VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE/ARE
- 3+ years' experience with React, React Native, and mobile app development
- Proven experience as a Mobile Developer, with a strong portfolio of successful mobile app projects.
- Strong understanding of Android and Apple mobile app design principles and user experience (UX) best practice
- Proficient in JavaScript / Typescript and React Native programming
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web service integration
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Jasmine, or Mocha).
- Experienced with Agile / Scrum methodologies and knowledge of SDLC process
- Experience with version control software (git, subversion).
- Experience w/ Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
IT WOULD BE NICE IF YOU HAVE:
- AZ900 certification
- Experience with .NET technologies (C#)
- Experience with both Angular and React
- Experience with databases (SQL Server, cosmos DB etc.)
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, CI/CD pipelines and VS App Center
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT (MINIMUM)
- Bachelor's degree in computer science and/or equivalent degree
IN OFFICE REQUIREMENT:
Relias values collaboration and wants to ensure that our team members have opportunities to work with their teams regularly for professional development opportunities. Our flexible hybrid work environment requires that you live in the state of North Carolina, within a commutable distance to our office (~1-hour commute). You would be expected to work in our Morrisville, NC Headquarters approximately 30/40 days/quarter.
