*Position: Surgical Technologist (Full Time Permanent)*
_We are seeking a __*Surgical Technician *__to assist the multi-disciplinary health care team in clinical support functions and promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment. The Surgical Technician will work in collaboration under the direction of the RN and Surgeon during surgical procedures. _
*What qualifications will you need?*
* *Would Strongly Prefer candidates that have 2 **years of CST experience. Preference is acute care experience (1 year**) would consider someone that does not have acute care experience. *
* *MUST have CST certification in hand.*
* Previous scrubbing experience is preferred
* Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
* Vocational School Graduate
*What will you do in this role?*
* Perform scrub duties for various surgical procedures
* Demonstrates knowledge and application of sterile technique, instruments and supplies needed for surgical cases
* Communicates and participates in patient care activities in direct conjunction with the RN
