Job Description
DUTIES: Design and develop new software and web applications, modeling, simulation, and testing using Python; work with AWS cloud services, including API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CW logs, CW insight queries, ECS, and CW dashboards; use Boto3 to access AWS resources; write Shell Scripts to build and deploy pipelines, execute test cases, perform versioning, and perform security scanning; develop continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Concourse; monitor, measure, and analyze data using Kibana; use Serverless and Terraform to create and maintain cloud infrastructure via code; use Graphql for query and manipulation of data for APIs; support applications under development and customize current applications; assist with the software update process for existing applications, and roll-outs of software releases; analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications; document all development activity; research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports; monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products; review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; conduct analysis to determine integration needs; and work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements. Position is eligible for 60% remote work.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience developing software using Python; working with AWS cloud services, including API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CW logs, CW insight queries, ECS, and CW dashboards; of which one (1) year includes using Boto3 to access AWS resources; writing Shell Scripts to build and deploy pipelines, execute test cases, perform versioning, and perform security scanning; developing continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Concourse; monitoring, measuring and analyzing data using Kibana; using Serverless and Terraform to create and maintain cloud infrastructure via code; and using Graphql for query and manipulation of data for APIs
